1980

 

 The Rebels scatter after the Empire attacks their base on the ice planet Hoth. As the situation has been deftly knocked in disarray sending the in habitants scambling for safety, the Imperial have targeted Han Solo and Princess Leia for capture and what could very well be termination. This would actually be the "nail-in-the-coffin" for the populus of Hoth. This is all going on while Luke trains with Jedi Master Yoda to battle the deepest, darkest villain in the Universe -- Darth Vader. Yet while training, Luke also learns the shocking truth about his past.

Stuck in an unloving marriage, rich socialite Julia Sturges (Barbara Stanwyck) boards the Titanic with her two young children with the intent of divorcing her husband, Richard (Clifton Webb), when she arrives in the States. At the last minute, Richard discovers her plan and manages to get on board the ship in an attempt to convince her to stay with him. Their marital problems take a backseat, however, when the Titanic collides with an iceberg and begins its descent into history.

The lives of the passengers aboard the doomed luxury liner Titanic are seen before and during its slow descent into the Atlantic.

 

1923 

 

This epic silent film mixes Biblical tale of the Israelites' flight from Egypt with a contemporary parable about two brothers, one evil, one angelic. 

Although the first part of the film is set in ancient Egypt with Moses (Theodore Roberts) and Rameses (Charles De Roche), the central focus is the 1920s story of two brothers -- John (Richard Dix) and Dan McTavish (Rod La Rocque). John, a carpenter, is the son who embodies the laws of Moses, while Dan, a corrupt contractor, lives a life of sin. When a tragedy caused by Dan kills the brothers' mother (Edythe Chapman), Dan tries to redeem his wicked ways. But more hard lessons await him.

 

1965

 

 During the Russian Revolution, Yuri Zhivago  is a young doctor who has been raised by his aunt and uncle following his father's suicide. Yuri falls in love with beautiful Lara Guishar, who has been having an affair with her mother's lover, Victor Komarovsky, an unscrupulous businessman. Yuri, however, ends up marrying his cousin, Tonya. But when he and Lara meet again years later, the spark of love reignites. 

Omar Sharif stars in the title role as an orphaned youth who grows up to marry the daughter of his adoptive parents, but falls in love with a beautiful dressmaker.

 

1973 

 

 THE STING stars Paul Newman and Robert Redford as two con men in 1930s Chicago. After a friend is killed by the mob, they try to get even by attempting to pull off the ultimate "sting."

Johnny Hooker  teams up with old pro Henry  to take revenge on the ruthless crime boss responsible, Doyle Lonnegan . Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so crafty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled. As their big con unfolds, however, things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation by the undaunted duo.

No one is to be trusted as the twists unfold, leading up to one of the greatest double-crosses in movie history. The con is on!
